“Astana cesserà di essere rivale di Mosca e Kiev nell’export del grano nell’area del Mar Nero”
E’ quanto affermato di recente da Nurlan Tleubayev durante una videoconferenza “Astana-Moscow-Kyiv” sulla Sicurezza alimentare: previsioni, rischi, interessi.
Tleubayev ha affermato che la ferrovia Kazaka-Turkmena-Iraniana verrà a breve inaugurata e così anche la ferrovia che connette la Georgia alla Turchia: sono tutte vie che apriranno ancora di più le esportazioni di grano dal Kazakhstan.
“Noi ci rifiutiamo di transitare attraverso la Russia. Abbiamo un porto ad Aktau, i nostri mezzi attraverseranno il Mar Caspio, l’Azerbaijan, la Georgia e raggiungeranno la Turchia”, ha detto Tleubayev. Il quale ha anche aggiunto che una grande quantità di grano giungerà via treno in Cina ed in Iran.
Un accordo intergovernativo sul Progetto Nord-Sud è stato siglato tra Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan e Iran nel 2007. Il volume di traffico programmato su questa tratta ammonterà a 10 milioni di tonnellate all’anno.
Grain Union of Kazakhstan: Kazakhstan could export more grain to China
Kazakhstan could export more grain to China, Grain Union of Kazakhstan President Nurlan Tleubayev said.
He said the supply of Kazakh wheat to China began in 2009. Initially, shipments amounted to only 2,000 tons, but the figure reached 70,000 tons per month in 2011.
“China needs Kazakh grain and this need will grow from year to year,” he said. However, he added that the border railway can only receive 25,000 tons of grain per month.
The Alashankou – Dostyk border railway is the first railway crossing between China and Kazakhstan, which opened in 1991.

La raffineria di Atyrau ha lavorato oltre 2,6 milioni di tonnellate di petrolio da inizio 2012
Atyrau Oil Refinery (Kazakhstan) processed 2 648.0 thousand tons of oil for the first seven months of 2012, the company said.
During this period the company produced 311.0 thousand tons of gasoline, diesel fuel – 732.0 thousand tons, fuel TS-1 – 32,100 tons, fuel oil – 95,800 tons, fuel oil trade – 941 400 tons, vacuum gas oil – 348,300 tons, coke – 44 100 tones, liquefied natural gas – 9600 tons, sulfur technology – 0,5 thousand tons.
The share of high-octane gasoline from the total amounted to 31.4 percent and the share of cleaner diesel fuel – to 65.1 percent at the end of seven months in 2012.
Atyrau Oil Refinery processed 396.8 thousand tons of oil in July 2012.
Entro Settembre i risultati dei negoziati sul gas tra Kazakhstan e Kyrgyzstan
I negoziati tra Kazakhstan e Kyrgyzstan sulle forniture di gas naturale dal primo verso il secondo saranno completate entro la fine di Agosto o nel mese di Settembre.
Il principale tema di discussione è al momento il prezzo del gas.
Il Kyrgyzstan prevede di comprare circa 100 milioni di metri cubi di gas nel 2012 e 300 milioni di mc nel 2013.
Il Kyrgyzstan ha iniziato ad acquistare gas dal Kazakhstan da ottobre 2011 a 195 Usd/1.000 mc di gas.
Japanese banks to allocate over $297.5 mln to build oil-deep processing plant in Kazakhstan
The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC; Governor: Hiroshi Okuda) signed today a buyer’s credit (export credit) agreement totaling up to 178.5 million U.S. dollars (JBIC’s portion) with LLP Atyrau refinery (AR), a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas company JSC NC KazMunayGas in the Republic of Kazakhstan that is engaged in oil refining and the marketing of petroleum products. This loan is cofinanced with The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. (BTMU), and Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI) provides Buyer’s Credit Insurance for the portion cofinanced by BTMU. The overall cofinancing amounts to 297.5 million U.S. dollars.
This loan will mainly fund the purchase of a fluid catalytic cracker (FCC) and associated plant equipment through Marubeni Corporation as part of the modernization project intended to minimize the environmental impact of the manufacturing process in the Atyrau Oil Refinery operated and maintained by AR in Atyrau City, Kazakhstan.

La kazaka Svetlana Podobedova ha vinto la medaglia d’oro olimpica di sollevamento pesi, categoria 75 kg, con un totale di 291 kg.
Nel 2010 era stata nominata miglior sollevatrice pesi dell’anno dalla Federazione Internazionale Sollevamento Pesi. Il suo compagno, il kazako Vladimir Sedov, è Campione mondiale di sollevamento pesi.

Since the beginning of 2012 «Aktau International Sea Commercial Port» has handled over 6 million 732 thousand tons of dry and oil-bulk cargo, what came to 109.5 % of the target.Moreover total transshipment of crude oil and oil products came to 4 million 715 thousand tons, dry cargoes 2 016 thousand tons, including transshipment of metal products – 827thousand tons, other cargoes – 218 thousand tons, grain – 459 thousand tons. The volume of ferry transportations came up to 512 thousand tons.
Number of ships’ calls since the beginning of 2012 is 1 146.
